Cleveland man in MetroHealth after Sunday night motorcycle accident

CLEVELAND -- Police say a Cleveland man, 40, is in MetroHealth Medical center following a motorcycle accident Sunday night in Cleveland.

Police say that at about 6:20 p.m. Sunday, the man, 40, was operating his 2003 Honda VTX motorcycle south on E. 139th Street towards the intersection of E. 139th and Melzer Avenue.

This is a T intersection and the man was unable to negotiate a turn and ran his motorcycle off the roadway and into the front porch of a home at 13834 Melzer Ave.

He was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.

Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
